Every bag has a story, and the story of WeBe Bags is one I love to share. During a sailing adventure through the Caribbean, I encountered incredible women who used recycled bags from farms and bakeries as their market bags. With no access to paper or plastic, they crafted these rudimentary yet brilliant bags, turning necessity into ingenuity. Their resourcefulness sparked an idea that would eventually become WeBe Bags.

Life, however, often takes us through unchartered waters. For me, those waters were turbulent, forcing me to put WeBe Bags on hold for a time. But just like the North Star guides sailors home, the passion for this project always called me back. Some time later, now as a single mother of two, I embraced the journey wholeheartedly again, bringing WeBe Bags back to life with the same spirit of resilience and creativity that inspired me in the Caribbean.

To celebrate this journey, I created a special postcard that shares the background story of WeBe Bags. While I include one with every purchase, I've found that many customers love the story so much they come back asking for more. I'm always thrilled to send additional postcards, but I also want to make sure everyone can easily access our story. That's why I'm sharing it here on the blog, along with images of the postcard, so you can always have the story of WeBe Bags at your fingertips.

Thank you for being a part of the WeBe Bags journey. Together, we're not just sharing stylish, eco-friendly bags; we're celebrating a story of resilience, innovation, and community.
